Being Blonde

I brought some Cornish Blondes back from holiday, and we enjoyed a few on Friday afternoon.

Skinners Brewery in Truro donate a portion of the purchase price of each bottle to Surfers Against Sewage.

It struck me that we at Blonde all enjoy surfing. And we hate coming across crap whilst doing so.

So Blonde is now a fully paid-up corporate member of Surfers Against Sewage.

I like the idea that our CSR is partly the result of a donation to the SAS.

N.B. Cornish Blonde is good, but not as good as Grolsch Weizen.

I had a terrible hangover, it was a rainy miserable Sunday in Manchester. Lo and I had been down there visiting a mate for the weekend and decided to do a little retail therapy before heading home… As we turned a corner, much to my surprise, I spotted the 3 Sol Beetles sitting at the traffic lights. Like a pro Pap, I wipped out my phone a got a snap… I’m sure they must have thought I was a nutter getting so excited and pointing. It certainly brightened up my day tho

Blonde London is recruiting and I was wondering if you might be able to help me fill one of the roles.

I’m looking for a Junior Account Manager / Project Manager hybrid with some digital/interactive experience. There’s lots of room for career progression as this will be one of the first roles in the growing London team. In on the ground floor, so to speak. Well, hot-desk permitting.

Their initial responsibilities, though, will be fairly junior: contact reports, helping to create project timelines, ensuring that the studio team in Scotland is consulted for resource availability and costs, being the client’s primary point of contact for project-specific queries, monitoring project milestones, unicycles and bat-wrangling.
